The property is located close to local public transport links and shops, including the Sylvia Park shopping centre and train station. The property’s 2517sqm sunny site also backs onto a park.

CORT demolished the house that was on the property to construct sixteen one-bedroom units and three two-bedroom units.

Prime Minister John Key and Social Housing Minister Paula Bennett attended the official opening of the new development.

The units have been designed and constructed to a high specification by Waller Projects. The units were built and developed by CORT Community Housing with financial assistance through government Social Housing Unit (SHU) funding.
